Tempting Toffee Crisps


Tempting Toffee Crisps 
Ingredients:
12 Whole (5 x 2 1/2-inch) graham crackers 
¾ cup packed brown sugar 
¾ butter (do not use margarine) 
1 teaspoon vanilla 
½ package semi-sweet chocolate morsels 
1/4 cup chopped almonds

Preheat oven to 350F. Line a large cookie sheet (15 1/2 x 10) with foil. Arrange graham 
crackers side by side in a single layer on cookie sheet. In small saucepan, combine brown 
sugar, butter and vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes 
to a boil across the surface. Continue boiling 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove 
saucepan from heat and immediately pour mixture evenly over crackers. Bake 10-12 minutes 
or until bubbly and lightly browned. Remove from oven to cooling rack. 


Sprinkle with chocolate morsels; allow chocolate to soften, then spread evenly over baked crackers. 


Sprinkle almonds evenly over chocolate. Cool completely. Refrigerate until chocolate is 
firm. Break or cut into pieces. 

Keep bars tightly covered so the graham crackers stay crisp. Store 
in a cool place at room temperature. 

TRUST ME!  These will not last long!
